It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Appleby Jr. of Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Sr. Appleby and Naomi Ellen Appleby (Guss); his wife Elba Iris (Torres); and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Andrew, Jayson, Joshua, Gabriella, Bianca, Mark Anthony, Isabella, Alexander, Austin and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Briella, Baylynn, Blayne, Beckham and Barrett; his sister-in-law Edna DesChamps (Torres); his nieces and nephews, Debbie Shields, Richard Appleby, Carlos Landreau, Alderic, Joel, Daniel DesChamps, Coranna Newcomb-Budd and Andrea Estep; Kellie Bendik (Andrew), Amy Blackburn (Jerry), Michael (Julia) and Scott Appleby (Lourdes).
