He was predeceased by: his former wife Lenore Ellen Peer (Oklak); his son Todd Anthony Peer; and his parents, Herbert "Hiram" Peer and Esther Peer (Matz). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Peer (Linville); his children, Kristen McDowell (Shawn) and Aaron Peer (Shannon); his stepchildren, Jennifer Prinz (Colleen Reed) and Chip Prinz (Candi); his sister Sharon Sanders (Ken); and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Church of God and Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
