He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Albers and Rosa Albers (Homan); his wife Judith E. Albers; and his siblings, Ivo (Terri), Gene Albers (Leona), Lucille Newton and Vi Wachter (Paul).

He is survived by: his sons, Doug Albers (Mary) of Maryland, Drew Albers (Jenny) of Springboro and Eric Albers (Jaime) of Englewood; his grandchildren, Josh, Zach, Colby (Kennedy), Carley, Carter (Brooke), Colton, Morgan (Alex) and Ryan (Brielle); his great grandchildren, Salem, Emmett, Teddy and Evelyn; and his brother-in-law Earl Newton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
