It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Koontz of Englewood, Ohio, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard L. Koontz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James M. Koontz and Edith V. Koontz Sr. (Slemp). He is survived by : his wife Sally Koontz (Myers); his children, Cynthia Jane Haupt (Samuel), Marianne Hoskins (Albert), Keith Koontz (Debbie) and Kevin Koontz (Monica); and his brother James M. Koontz Jr. (Lois). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
