He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Kovacs and Elizabeth Petro (Porch); his sister Katherine Beth Miller; and his pets, Molly, Sheena and Kinko.

He is survived by : his wife Sandra "Sandy" Kovacs; his sons, Eric Kovacs (Denise) and Sean Kovacs (Summer); and his grandchildren, Adrienne, Sadie, Julia, Madeline and Emery Kovacs. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
