James K. Cox Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James K. Cox of Enon, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James K. Cox to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Cox and Lani Cox (Frecka). He is survived by: his wife Jackie Cox (Barker); his children, Joshua Cox and Joyanne Johnson; his grandchildren, Devohn, Ryleigh and Dillon Johnson; and his sisters, Leigh Zavakos (Otto) and Anne Ruhland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Glen Forest Cemetery (4512 Xenia Ave, Yellow Springs, OH 45387).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the N-SSA Skirmish Association or Hospice of Dayton.
