He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Ford and Genevieve Ford (White); and his siblings, Paul Ford and Darlene Purk. He is survived by: his siblings, Glenn Ford (Becky) and Carol Sowders (Paul); his wife Jo Ann Ford; his children, Malinda Stringer (Robert), Jonathan W. Ford of Clayton, Robert Ford (Megan) of Clayton, Kathryn Cline (Matthew) of Spring Valley and Steven Jay Ford of Springfield; his grandchildren, Randi Hickman, Kyle Bass, Charlotte, Olivia Ford and Cameron Cline; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Karshuk, Cameron Hickman, Ezekiel Hickman, Keelyn Bass and Kai Bass. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Adkins Funeral Home (7055 Dayton Springfield Rd, Enon, OH 45323). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Enon Cemetery (6013 Dayton Springfield Rd, Springfield, OH 45502).
