He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Latella and Ruth Latella (Robbins); his sister Michelle Shoaf; his niece Kelsea Glaser; his parents-in-law, Catherine and Joseph Sandbrink; and his brother-in-law Tom Grubb.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Holman-Latella; his children, Matthew Holman and Elizabeth Long (David Skaggs II); his grandchildren, Wyatt Long, Jacob Long and Emerson Skaggs; his brother Rick Latella (Soraya); and his sisters-in-law, Connie Bevard (Bill), Cathy Bell, Candida Marietta (Tom), Christina Glaser (Jim) and Sandra Grubb. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
