Though William has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhemine A. Nunning and William A. Mills; his wife Phyllis Mills; his sister Betty Layne; and his grandson Matthew Jones.
He is survived by: his children, David Mills (Deborah), Paula Jones (David), Tina Moore (Brian) and Billy Mills (Janelle); and his brother Robert Mills (Laura). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home - Pickerington (550 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147).
In honor of William's memory, donations may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice in gratitude for the compassionate care and kindness they provided during his final days.
