She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxwell Kelso and Ruth Kelso; and her brother Donald. She is survived by: her husband Ken Johnson; her children, Robert Johnson (Jane), Rick Johnson (Cash) and Lauri Johnson (Bryan); her grandchildren, Catherine, Tristan, David, Max, Brooklyn and Sadie; and her brother Bob Kelso (Pam). She is also survived by cats.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 2727 Glenn Rd, Carbondale, IL 62901.
Instead of flowers, the family is requesting expressions of sympathy in the form of contributions to our natural world - whether it's planting a tree, setting up a bird feeder, helping an animal cross the road, or donating to a wildlife or animal rescue organization.
