He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacob Winston Harris and Mary Minta Harris (Medley); and his siblings, Mildred Davis, Donald Harris, Sarah Jean and Patsy Whitehurst.

He is survived by : his sister Tassie Hare; his wife Amrizene Harris; his children, Jean Allyson Smith (Harvey Jr.), Jerome Manual Harris and Devaron Allen (Missy); and his grandchildren, Alena, Cameron, Aaron, Jamie, Miles, Madison, Milan, Kyle, Tank, Amaris, Devin and Damara. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
