He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schappacher and Anna Schappacher (Moelder); and his siblings, Thelma Vonderhaar, Al, Paul, Stanley and Charlie Schappacher.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Schappacher (Suttman); and his children, Jane Schappacher, Mary Sutter (Steve), Chris Wagner (Fred), Rita Holland (Tom), Jerry Schappacher (Stacy), Bob Schappacher (Cindi), Mike Schappacher (Stephanie) and Tim Schappacher (Christina). He is also survived by "Pops" to his 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home (10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Valley (330 W Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45215). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249).
