With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Avanell Robbins (Fairborn, Ohio), born in West Liberty, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her former husband Stanley C. Pelfrey; her husband Winfred Robbins; her son Stanley Pelfrey; and her sisters, Poncella Collier, Mondella Bradley, Geneva Smith and Betty Stapleton.
She is survived by: her children, LaThella Gregory (Kevin) and Scott Pelfrey (Teresa); her grandchildren, Matthew Gregory (Kelly), Leah Donohue (Michael), Erin Combs (Will), Kelly Pelfrey (Neil) and Adam Pelfrey (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Jackson Gregory, Lucy Donohue, Liza Donohue and Stevie Roach. She is also survived by numerous extended family, friends, and neighbors.
