Charles E. Caperton Obituary

We announce the death of Charles E. Caperton of Fairborn, Ohio, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 74. Charles will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Berlin Caperton and Myrtie Caperton; and his sister Carroll Caperton. He is survived by: his wife Mari; his children, Stephanie Zhybaj, Shane Ballance (Heather) and Justin Ballance; his grandchildren, Tyler, Courtney, Ashton, Elaina, Hadlee and Addison; his great grandchild Marleigh; his siblings, Doris Caperton and James Caperton; his nephew Joshua Caperton (Jana); his great-nephew Cole Caperton; and his mother-in-law Mary Henderson. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
