He was predeceased by: his wife Freda; his daughter Laura Jayne Moatz-Hale; his parents, Charles Moatz and Brida Moatz; and his sister Helen.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Wells Cynthia Sirko; his grandchildren, Emily Brunt, Ryder Wells, Abigail Long, Justin Wells, Chad Hale and Tara Hiller; and his great grandchildren, Hallie, Ella, Levi, Will, Ranger and Autumn.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
