Tom Loper wrote a sympathy message

“An unassuming man of dignified presence. As much as it is possible he exemplified a "Godly man". A steady hand at the wheel he wasn't about himself nor pomp and ceremony nor flash and attention getting. I respected him way back when and always will.”
