She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Russell Hamrick and Phyllis Pearson Hamrick; her husband Eugene Scarlett; her children, Tracey Jane Thompson and Russell John Thompson; and her sister Jane Hamrick Jones.
She is survived by: her sister Susan Hamrick Meadows (Steve); Callie Thompson Frederick and John Tolar. She is also survived by 2 nieces and 3 nephews, several stepchildren and grandchildren, and her son's.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Help of Christians Catholic Church (954 N Maple Ave, Fairborn, OH 45324). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Help of Christians Church (954 N Maple Ave, Fairborn, OH 45324). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Fairfield Cemetery (730 Clover St, Fairborn, OH 45324).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
