She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. O'Neal and Sara Belle O'Neal (Darnell); her husband John Malavich; her son Jeffrey; her daughter-in-law Margaret; and her brother Robert O'Neal.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Ann Howell of Fairborn; her grandchildren, Katie Lee (Steve) of Louisville, KY, Steven Howell and Kristine Gillispie (Nick) of Tucson, AZ; and her great grandchildren, Meredith Lee, Sophia Howell, Teagan Howell, Lane Gillispie and Louisa Gillispie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Belton Stroup Funeral Home (422 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324). A procession will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (8200 W National Rd, New Carlisle, OH 45344). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund in her memory or to Smile Train, the leading charity for children born with cleft lips and palates.
