He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zion and Clemma Alice Carroll (Lewis); his wife Myrtle "Jean"; and his siblings, Lillian, Gerlean, William, Robert, Johnny and James.
He is survived by: his children, James "Jim" Carroll, Melissa Mirenda and Donna Lawson (Mark); his grandchildren, Eric Bond, Jessica Skapik (Danny Lemaster) and Samantha Mirenda; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Lutz (Nick), Skylar Smyth and Nathan Rambo (Robin); and his great grandchildren, Kaylen, Keagen, Trinity, Hayden, Jamie, Peyton, Hailey, Anthony, Alyson, Monroe, Joslynn, Autumn, Mya, Paisley-Mae, Declan, Wyatt, River and Walker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
