She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Steele and Etta Mae Steele (Metcalfe); her siblings, Kathleen, Billy, Bob and Idele; and her daughter-in-law Pam Carroll.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry "Pete" Carroll; her children, James "Jim" Carroll, Melissa Mirenda and Donna Lawson (Mark); her grandchildren, Samantha Mirenda, Eric Bond, Jessica Skapik-Bridenbaugh (Danny), Stephanie Lutz (Nick), Skylar Smyth and Nathan Rambo; and her great grandchildren, Kaylen, Keagen, Trinity, Jamie, Monroe, Paisley Mae, Declan, Hailey, Joslynn, River, Walker, Mya, Wyatt, Anthony, Hayden, Peyton, Allison and Autum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Fairborn Senior Center (325 N 3rd St, Fairborn, OH 45324). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the same location.
