He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Spicer and Nannie Spicer (Little); and his siblings, Myrtle Chadwick, Dora Jennings, Helen Deaton, Mitchel Edward, Earl, Charlie, Logan Spicer, William Spicer and Virgil Spicer.
He is survived by: his wife Dotty Spicer (Spencer); his niece Kathy Bruggeman (Chadwick); his nephew Lenville Turner; his sister-in-law Monella Keene; and his friend Roscoe Keene.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Belton Stroup Funeral Home (422 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home (422 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324). A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Byron Cemetery (3256 Trebein Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation.
