He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Swigart and Virginia Swigart (Schurr); his brother Paul Swigart; and his sister-in-law Beverly Swigart. He is survived by: his daughter Kari Swigart; his siblings, Carolyn Boze (Larry) of Troy, John Swigart of Fletcher, Dave Swigart (Sandy) of Casstown, Kathryn Catlin of Severn, MD, Raymond Swigart of Troy, Michael Swigart of Troy and Virginia Lewis (Jerry) of Tipp City; his uncle Donald; and his aunt Roma Stump of Kenansville, FL..

Memorial contributions may be made to Tecumseh Land Trust, Beavercreek Wetlands Assoc. or any other environmental organization of donor's choice.
