With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ron McDermott of Fairborn, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on September 27, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo McDermott and Phyllis McDermott (Burress); and his stepmother Mary McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Caryn Petros (Pete) and Michael McDermott (Jordain); his granddaughter Madison; and his pet Spike.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to the Ron McDermott Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Fairborn City Schools, 306 E. Whittier Ave., Fairborn, OH 45324.
