It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Gaynell (Thacker) Badillo (Fairborn, Ohio), born in Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Gail Hackney, Rita Sue Barrett (Larry), Hazel Hunt (Earl) and Linda Thompson (Melvin); her parents, Mandy (Verlin Hackney) and Theodore (Nora Thacker); her sister Joanne Oney; her brother-in-law James Oney; and her brother Willie Lee "Billy" Thacker.
She is survived by: her husband Bruno Badillo; her children, Lowell Keeton of Fairborn, Tina Stamper (Rick) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Doran Vail (Cindy) of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Amanda Perry (Heith) of Fairborn; her grandchildren, Brandon, Dakota, Samantha, Jennifer, Teyha and Isabella; and her siblings, Judy Hobson (Bennie) and James Thacker (Joann). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family.
