He was predeceased by : his parents, Dellie F. Carpenter and Dora F. Carpenter (Hale); his sister Pauline Morgan; and his grandson Jeremy Robinson. He is survived by : his children, Janie Robinson (Robbie), Vernon Carpenter, Denise Emory and Larry Carpenter; his brother Frank Carpenter (Coleen); and his grandchildren, James Robinson (Courtney), Rachel Dailey, Amy Hammock (Ryan), Bobby Carpenter (Victoria), Brian Emory, Lacy Arnold (Kyle), Curtis Carpenter and Tasha Childers. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
