He was predeceased by: his father Granville "Bub" McWhorter; his sister JoAnn McWhorter; and his pets, Daisy and Buster. He is survived by: his mother Mallie Davidson McWhorter (Fred); his siblings, Brenda Ponder Hodges and Jeff McWhorter (Lisa); the mother of his children Sandy TerHaar; his children, Hannah Tedford (Ryan), Sarah TerHaar and Josh McWhorter; his grandchildren, Brianna, Ashlynn McWhorter, Evan McWhorter and Ollie Tedford; and his pet Sofia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
