He was predeceased by: his father Christopher Saylor; his grandparents, Jim and Ann Saylor; his cousin Chad Combs; and his friend Manuel Cornel.

He is survived by: his mother Alicia Neal (Robert Ryder); his sisters, Briann Lambert, Brooke Lambert, Brittany Saylor (Austin) and Josie Day; his nephews, Cash Smith, Ashten Hays and Cassius Saylor; his grandparents, Arthur and Sharon Neal; and his great-grandparent Vola Ballew. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

In his final act of kindness, Brent gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
