She is survived by: her daughter Katherine "Katie" Whalen (Kelly); her caregiver Reva Watkins (Mike); her nieces, Margaret Rieckenberg (Kurt) and Lillian Wallace (Jared); her great-nephew Keller Rieckenberg; her great-niece Fallon Rieckenberg; and her friends, Sharon Atkins, Holly Voorhees, Robin Chapa, Dr. Nicholas Brautigam, Don Rineer, Valeria Skinner, Susan Vice and Nancy Hansford.
In lieu of flowers, Carol has requested that donations be made to any local animal shelter.
