He is survived by: his wife Kazue Chida Witte; his children, Kevin Witte, Jeff Witte, Alison Witte (Joe) and Chris Witte; and his siblings, Tom Witte (Cindy), Ken Witte (Cynthia), Elaine Morefield, Marilyn Maertens (Jim), Michael Witte (Cathy) and Steve Witte (Shonda Devers).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Doan & Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (235 S 5th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A burial was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery (1701 Liberty Ave, Richmond, IN 47374).
