He was predeceased by : his parents, Roma King and Artie King (Rowe); his wife Eileen King; his son Delbert King; his grandchildren, Adam and Alyse King; and his sons-in-law, John Gross, Darrell Chafin and Kenneth Walker.

He is survived by : his children, Sherry Chafin (Ray Frybarger), Pamela Gross, John King (Lisa) and Tina Smith (Will). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
