He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bokeno Sr. and Dorothy Bokeno (Wetzel); his wife Lois Mignerey of Lindenwald; his sons, Daniel Joseph (Kathy) and John Francis; and his sister Connie Kostomay-Frank.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Margo) of Murray, J. Kevin (Kathy) of Charlotte, Mary Beth Brown (Forrest) of Charleston and Thomas Edward (Lisa) of Fairfield; and his sisters, Geraldine Plinneke (Jack) and Rita Lakes (Robert). He is also survived by twelve Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren.
