He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Moats (Rosemary) and Barbara Moats; his wife Eileen; his children, Jessica (Chris), Heidi (Aaron) and David (Caleigh); his grandchildren, Liam, Charlotte, Evelyn, Lucas and William Eric; his mother-in-law Mary Kay Walter; his siblings, Andy (Nancy) and Melissa (Dino); his father-in-law Leo Walter Jr.; Leo (Mary Ann), Ted (Barb), Frank (Michael) and Sean (Theresa).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Homes (2800 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Church (164 W Market St, Akron, OH 44303).
