She was predeceased by: her parents, Elba Peters and Lena Peters (Wheeler); and her siblings, Charles Peters, Reda Bates, Freda Sanders and Jean Bundy.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Humbel (Mark Steinkerchner), Scott Boso, Kim Slate (David), Bob Williams (Jamie) and Rhea Raney (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Chris Humbel, Cara Campbell (Eddie), Michael Slate (Sam), Jarrod Raney (Savannah), Rebecca Varner (Ben) and Joe Williams (Julie Ann). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Deeply influenced by her time working in the burn unit in Morgantown, West Virginia, Fran made the decision to donate her skin to help others who have suffered burns.
