Landis Jr. of Fairlawn, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Landis and Verna Landis Sr.; his wife Ingeborg; his sister Marilyn Taylor; and his son-in-law Brian Whitaker.

He is survived by : his daughters, Annette Pangle (Paul) and Deborah Whitaker; his grandchildren, Kelly Pangle (Noelle), Jackie Lalli, Meghan Pangle and Abby Martes (Manny); and his great grandchildren, Veda, Piper, Jack, Jane, Joseph and Ava.
