He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward T. Johnson and Jeanette C. Johnson; and his sister-in-law Nancy Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Johnson; his brothers, Edward T. "Kurt" Johnson Jr. and Theodore "Ted" Johnson; Barbara Ames. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
