He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. Sr. Saalfield and Barbara Saalfield (Burnham); and his brother-in-law Stanley Vick. He is survived by: his wife Karen Saalfield (Thompson); his children, Michael (Jennifer), Nancy Link (Brian) and Susan Gladding (Ryan); his grandchildren, Nicole, Brian Jr., Natalie and Taylor; his sisters, Sally Christopher (Jim) and Margaret Vick; and his pet Ginger.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory (368 Mentor Ave, Painesville, OH 44077).
