He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Waite and Helen Waite (Magyar); and his children, David and Gail. He is survived by: his wife Frances Waite; his children, Gregory Waite (Jackie), Gary Waite (Susan), Dennis Waite, Rick Waite (Nikki), Melissa Waite and Diane Waite; his siblings, Brian Waite and Debbie Behm (Ford); his stepchildren, Scott Bayus (Monica), Denise Story (Chuck) and Mia Moore (Brian); and his grandchildren, Bob, Jacob, Ethan, Seth, Alex, Lauren, Destin and Sarah. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home (667 Mentor Ave, Painesville, OH 44077). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 5th St, Fairport Harbor, OH 44077).
