He was predeceased by : his mother Lorene Gilpen; his wife Patricia Gilpen (Galerno); and his brother Robert Apple. He is survived by : his children, Michelle Oppman (Joseph), Jerry Gilpen, Jeff Gilpen (Lissette), Denise Gilpen and Beverly Barnhardt (Mike); his brother James Gilpen (Marion); and his grandchildren, Christopher (Tonya), Branden, Kayla, Isaiah, Briahna, Austin, Savanna, Haley and Alicia. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
