She was predeceased by : her father Clarence L. Wells; her husband Robert Dale Steele; her son Marvin Dale Steele; and her brothers, Raleigh Wells, Gary Wells, Duane Wells, Mark Wells and Dennis Wells.

She is survived by : her children, James Robert Steele (Tina) of Fairview and Carla Jo Steele of Hilliard; her grandchildren, Andy Juzwiak, Jason Juzwiak (Margie) and Amanda Steele (Cody); her great grandchildren, Ty Goodman, Dakota Goodman and Harper Fornal; her close friend Archie; her siblings, Francis K. Wells (Phyliss), William Wells, Patsy Ankrom (Benny), Marsha Ankrom (Kim) and Julie Peters (Danny); her sisters-in-law, Diane Wells, Becky Steele and Carol Wells; her close friend Tom Bunfill; her niece Lindsey Brown; and her nephew Richard Wells. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
