He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Edward Jaster and Sarah Jeannette Jaster (McCullum); his daughter Melanie Jaster; his siblings, Betty Wells, Dorothy Wolcott, Freda Toth, C. Marvin Jaster and Dale Jaster; his son-in-law Bernie Armstrong; his grandson Anthony Butler; and his close friend Rae Stafford.
He is survived by: his children, Danice (Steven Grinnell), Monica (Harold Butler Jr.) and Michael Jaster of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and 3 great -great grandchildren.
