He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Rice (Martin) and Emerson Rice Movers; his brother Charles "Bill" Rice; his brothers-in-law, William "Bill" McGhee, Charlie Mika and Richard "Chick" Lumbrezer; and his nephew Darrel Joughin.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Lumbrezer; his children, Ron Rice (Karen) of Archbold and Robin Richardson (Adam) of Morenci; his sister Carolyn Joughin (Weldon) of Adrian, MI; his grandchildren, Colin Richardson (Chelsey), Phoenix Richardson (Jared Wagner), Dinah Rice and TJ Rice; his great grandchild Sutton Bea Richardson; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Rice, Ruth Mika, Judi Lumbrezer and Ginger Lumbrezer.
Memorial contributions to honor Boomer are suggested to benefit the Fayette Volunteer Fire Association.
