She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Nowak and Betty Nowak (Smith); her former husband Albert III Merillat (Buddy); her sister Linda Opdycke; her brother-in-law Bill Beagle; and her parents-in-law, Albert Jr. and Viola Merillat.
She is survived by: her husband John A. Merillat; her children, Scott (Kristine), Jeremy (Anne), Nick Merillat (Lisa Kamppinen) and Melissa Kessler (Luke); her grandchildren, Skilar Taylor, Dakota Merillat, Taylor Wilson (Stetson), Brett, Chloe, Lauryn Merillat, Aiden, Kamden, Riley and Katelyn Kessler; her brother Chad Nowak (Denise); her stepfather-in-law Joe McKinney; her sisters, Cheri Beagle, Sheila Siegel (Galen), Teresa Watson (Ken), Angela McGuire (Mick) and Laura Fleming (Greg); and her brother-in-law Butch Opdycke. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Cindy's memory may be given to Community Health Professionals Hospice.
