He was predeceased by: his godfather Mark Flory; and his great-grandparents, Irene Zipfel, Louise, Jim Grimes, Stella and Ray Jones.
He is survived by: his parents, James Grimes (Emilee Campbell) and Stacy Karr; his daughters, Courtney Karr Grimes and Maggie Ann Karr Grimes; his brother Dominick Grimes; his grandparents, Doug, Karen Karr, Sharon Franklin (Tim "Pappy") and David Grimes; his aunts and uncles, Jenna Karr, Sam Karr (Jess) and Tera Domina (Kenny); and his godmother Carol McCann. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S Clinton St, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to a trust for his daughters, c/o Stacy Karr.
