She was predeceased by: her husband Terry P. Hollaender; her parents, Al Gerwe and Mary Gerwe (West); and her sister Cathy Hagee (Gerwe). She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lauren Bolin (Ian), James Terry Shepherd, Ted Brayden Hollaender, Gabriella Shepherd, Brittany Hazelbaker and Mariah Hazelbaker; her great grandchild Nathan Bolin; and her siblings, Mel Gerwe, Joe Gerwe (Ruth Ann), Eileen Gosney, Ann Anderson (Chuck), Roger Gerwe (Julie) and Ray Gerwe (Nancy).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saint Patrick Church (Fayetteville, Ohio) or The American Heart Association in Joan's name.
