We are sad to announce that, on December 28, 2025, at the age of 95, Dorothy Verney of Felicity, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dorothy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Dorothy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Coy and Mary Coy (Gleason); her husbands, Arthur S. Verney and Josef Kroes; her daughter Diane Quattlander; and her brother Dave Coy.
She is survived by: her son Dan Verney (Sandy) of Felicity, Ohio; her sister Mary Jo Nelson of Charleston; and her close friends, Jim and Leona Haworth of Vanderbilt, Michigan.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
