He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Sweet and Virginia Sweet; his wife Barbara Sweet (Harris); his children, Jeff Sweet (Jessica Mussie), David Sweet and Karen Eblin (Jason); his siblings, Christine Waltz (Larry) and Tony Sweet; and his siblings' children, Jessica Sweet and Brian Waltz. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (315 W Plane St, Bethel, OH 45106). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
