He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bruist and Gladys Bruist (Adams); his son Roger Shane Bruce; and his siblings, Mary Haas, Loretta Hamilton and Roy Bruce.
He is survived by: his significant other Melanie Bruce (Gray); his grandchildren, Sadie Haley (Michael) of Georgetown, Shaunee Adams (Wade) of Tollesboro, Harley Bruce of Mt, Camryn, Claire, Lane Haley, Remi, Asher and Tucker Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Gray, Jonny Gray, Larry Grohowski, Sharon Layman, Pam and Missi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cahall Funeral Home (204 W State St, Georgetown, OH 45121). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
