He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Godfrey and Margaret Louise (Williams); and his brother Kenneth Rothey. He is survived by: his wife Marty (Marty); his children, Jennifer Rothey (Aaron), Fritz, Cathie Soutas, Thomas Seth Rothey (Tracy) of Mason, Margaret "Meg" Rothey Berol (David) of Sunnyvale and Canan Baysal Gürbag (Can) of Irvine, California.; his grandchildren, Carter Fritz (Elizabeth), McKay Fritz (Lily), Hadley Fritz, Brenna Fritz, Clara Rothey, Evie Rothey, Nora Rothey, Henry Rothey, Scotty Berol, Vinny Berol and Defne Gürbag; his great grandchildren, Leo, Lincoln and Sawyer Fritz; and his siblings, Randy Rothey, Thom Rothey (Rebecca), Richard Rothey and Pam Jones. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
