He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Lord and Florence Lord (Browne); his brother Barry Lord; and his grandson Ethan Lord. He is survived by: his close friend Sambo; his children, Joe Lord (Julie), Jennifer Chiow-Mersch (Bryan), Julia Curtis (Brian) and James Lord (Jose); his grandchildren, Theodore Roberts (Amanda), Kaitlyn Mendez (Brad), Dillin Chiow (Kensey), Alyssa Patterson (Pat), Hannah Andrus (Kaleb), Briar Curtis (Alli), Dylan Mersch, Jenna Curtis (Matthew), Evan Mersch, Kelsey Chiow, William Chiow, Malia Mersch and Gabe Mersch; his sister Penny Decker (Dwight); and his former wife Rose VanDerVeer.
