He is survived by: his children, George Mata (Fe), Jyme Mata (Jing), Doris Pedong (Boyet), Chris Torres (Armando), Gelyn Fenner (Tim), Lynn Short (Christopher) and Lea Soliven; and his siblings, Tony, Artemio Mata and Rosemarie. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
